House of Time was the name on the door when Alvin J. House opened his jewelry, watch and clock repair shop in 1962. He hired Benjamin Apeland as a jeweler in 1981. Later, in 1988 Tim Scheer joined the team as a master clock repairman. Benjamin purchased House of Time from Alvin in 1990 and after a few years of operation, put his own name on the door. Benjamin Jewelers is now located in the University Square Shopping Center is run by a competnt team and headed up by Benjamin himself. Along with clockrepairman Tim, Pam is the smiling face that will greet you at the door and will meet all your pearl and bead stringing needs. Alex is the fourth jeweler apprentice Benjamin Jewelers has tranined since opening its doors. Benjamin Jewelers is also a member of Jewelers of America.
