House of Time was the name on the door when Alvin J. House opened his jewelry, watch and clock repair shop in 1962. He hired Benjamin Apeland as a jeweler in 1981.  Later, in 1988 Tim Scheer joined the team as a master clock repairman. Benjamin purchased House of Time from Alvin in 1990 and after a few years of operation, put his own name on the door. Benjamin Jewelers is  now located in the University Square Shopping Center is run by a competnt team and headed up by Benjamin himself. Along with clockrepairman Tim, and Jodi is our goldsmith apprentice.
